Arrows

I see the arrows flying all around me and I can feel it too,

I feel their pain, I feel your pain – I wish it was just a few.

Daily battles are being fought by the minute,

I could just image the level of turbulence for those caught up in it.

We’re all battling to make it through the day,

And in all honesty when you ask us, we’re not ‘okay’.

Still, we hold on until the morning because we’re promised the Light,

By the Only God who had kept us going through our most dismal night.
